Agent guidance: Describe Part B figures as estimates when assisting beneficiaries. This reference does not change the active 2026 calculators or establish a beneficiary’s actual premium.
2027 Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA): Generally uses 2025 tax-return modified adjusted gross income (MAGI). Final 2027 brackets and surcharges are not loaded. The $109,000 individual / $218,000 joint thresholds and current estimator apply to 2026, not 2027. Verify Social Security’s determination, including any life-changing-event adjustment.

Employer Coverage Readiness
Sample analysis outcome
Keep employer-primary coverage as the leading financial scenario while actively employed
The entered Medicare pathway may add approximately $115 to the employee’s annual cost. The employer plan also generally pays first while qualifying current employment continues.
Payer coordination: For an age-eligible active employee or spouse at an applicable employer with 20 or more employees, the group health plan generally pays first while that current-employment coverage remains in place. This payer rule does not replace the employee’s voluntary coverage decision.
Side-by-Side Educational Review
Remain on Employer Coverage
Review active-plan cost, benefits, prescription coverage, HSA implications and employer-plan coordination.
Evaluate Medicare Transition
